Once you are login to system, Hyper-V manager and Hyper-V Virtual Machine Connection tiles are all listing on the Start screen. * Your PC will restart to start installing Hyper-V. Select all of them to install the entire package, or select some to get certain features. * Select “Programs and Features”, click “Turn Windows features on or off” link, and check “Hyper-V” option. * From start screen, open charms bar, click Search, type “control panel” in the box and clcik on it from the result. Notes: Computer Configuration requirement: at least 4GB of memory How to Enable/install Hyper-V on Windows 8 Pro or Windows 8 Enterprise installation A clean installation or upgrade installation doesn’t turn Hyper-V feature on. Hyper-V allows user to create an app sandbox, run a test machine and launch a VHD appliance. Hyper-V was only running on Windows Server 2008 R, but now it is a part of the desktop and workstation environment on Windows 8.
